Airlock

Airlock equipment is essentially the mechanism for separation of two areas with a differential pressure between them. You can find a need for an airlock in high pressure pneumatic conveying systems, and airlock equipment is often used in the feeding of materials into pneumatic transport systems with rotary pocket or star feeders. Almost any pressure or vacuum conveying system is an ideal spot to use airlock equipment. Another use for airlock equipment is dust collecting. Airlock equipment is commonly used in the cement, asphalt, chemical, mining, and plastics industries, among others.
