Cottoner | Cottoner equipment is designed to insert cotton into the neck of a container. Cottoners are most often used in the packaging of pharmaceutical pills or tablets, or in the packaging of food supplement pills or tablets. Cottoners can be either inline or rotary. Inline cottoners use a conveyor to index the container underneath the cotton inserting head. Inline cottoners have the simplest and most versatile operation but are also limited in speed. Rotary cottoners use a rotary disc to index containers underneath multiple cotton inserting heads. Rotary cottoners are more specific to container size, but are capable of higher speeds when compared to inline cottoners. |
